Rare Lobopyge Trilobite - Killer Preparation

This is a killer specimen of a rare Acanthopyge (Lobopyge) bassei trilobite from Morocco. It's quite large for the species, being around 1.1" long it outstretched and the preparation is spectacular. The spines have been prepared so they are free standing as well as the head so the mouth plate can be seen. The surface detail is excellent and the chocolate brown shell contrasts well with the reddish colored matrix. They don't get much better than this.
