1.2" Cyphaspis Walteri With Gerastos Trilobite - Mrakib, Morocco
This is a 1.2" long Cyphaspis walteri trilobite collected from the Bou Dib Formation near Mrakib, Morocco. It is associated with a small Gerastos trilobite. It is nicely prepared with all of the spines free-standing and only about 2% restoration in total on the piece.
This species was Cyphaspis was finally formally described in 2014. A link to the paper can be found below.
