1.6" Ordovician Starfish (Petraster?) Fossil - Morocco

This is a 1.6" wide, Ordovician aged starfish (Petraster?) from the Tiouririne Formation near Kaid rami, Morocco. The orange coloration is natural and due to the oxidation of iron. This specimen bears the faint impression of an edrioasteroid and also features an additional starfish arm.

It comes with an acrylic display stand.
