2.1" Ordovician Starfish (Petraster?) Fossil - Morocco
This is a 2.1" wide, Ordovician aged starfish (Petraster?) from the Tiouririne Formation near Kaid rami, Morocco. The orange coloration is natural and due to the oxidation of iron.
There is a repaired crack running through the rock and the fossil with some restoration along the crack.
It comes with an acrylic display stand.
