1.95" Ordovician Starfish (Petraster?) Fossil - Morocco

This is a 1.95" wide, Ordovician aged starfish (Petraster?) from the Tiouririne Formation near Kaid rami, Morocco. The orange coloration is natural and due to the oxidation of iron. A small, well-preserved edrioasteroid resides on the reverse side of the specimen and there is a repaired crack at the edge of the plate.

Comes with an acrylic display stand.
