2.3" Insect Fossil Cluster- Green River Formation, Utah

This is a 2.3" long, cluster of unidentified insect fossils from the Green River Formation, Uintah County, Utah. A number of members of this cluster appear to be beetles. One appears to be a Robber Fly (Asilidae)and another, a Silver Fish (Zygentoma).

While this formation is best known for well preserved fossil fish found in Wyoming, other sections of the formation contain a very diverse insect fauna.
