2.5" Fossil Running Rhino (Hyracodon) Jaw Section - South Dakota

This is a 2.5" wide mandible (lower jaw) bone section of the running rhino, Hyracodon nebraskensis. It was collected from the the Brule Formation in South Dakota and would be approximately 32-34 million years old. There are two partial teeth present which are attached to a small portion of jaw bone. There is a repaired crack through the middle of the jaw.
