2.4" Running Rhino (Hyracodon) Jaw Section - South Dakota

This is a 2.4" long, running rhino (Hyracodon) jaw section from South Dakota. It is the right maxilla (uppper jaw) with three teeth. Very little bone remains on this specimen although some does. The teeth are held in position by the rock. Lack of wear on the cusps of the teeth suggest this specimen is from a very young individual.
