Two Fossil Leaves - Green River Formation, Utah

This is a .8" fossil willow (Salix) and a .7" Mimosites leaf from the Green River Formation, Utah. Mimosites is a tree in the family of legumes (Fabaceae).

While this formation is best known for well preserved fossil fish found in Wyoming, other sections of the formation contain a very diverse insect fauna.

Comes with an acrylic stand.
