2" Hoploscaphites Plenus Ammonite - Montana

This is a beautiful Hoploscaphites plenus from the Pierre Shale of Montana. It's just over 2 inches wide and there are also two small ammonites in the rock right next to it. It's been wonderfully prepared from the hard concretion it was found in and the shell retains some iridescence. It displays well without the need for a display stand.
