3.8" Fossil Sycamore (Macginitiea) Leaf - Utah

This is a beautiful, 3.8" long fossil sycamore (Macginitiea wyomingensis) leaf. It has brown preservation and is located on a rectangular section of shale.

Comes with an acrylic display stand.

It comes from the Green River Formation in Uintah County, Utah. While this formation is best known for well-preserved fossil fish found in Wyoming, other sections of the formation contain very diverse flora and insect fauna.
