This is a beautiful fossil scallop (Chesapecten nefrens) with barnacles (Balanus sp.) still attached, collected from the Miocene age Choptank Formation through the Calvert Cliffs of Maryland. The surrounding rock has been completely cleaned away from the specimen.

Comes with an acrylic display stand.
