4.75" Spiny Selenopeltis Trilobite - Erfoud, Morocco

This is a wonderful, 4.75" long (including spines) example of the spiny odontopleurid trilobite, Selenopeltis buchi. These trilobites are quarried east of Erfoud, Morocco from the Upper Tiouririne Formation. Unlike most examples you see, it is not heavily restored with just a little bit of restoration along a repaired crack and across the pygidium.

Comes with a display stand.
