.43 Inch Wujiajiania, McKay Group, BC

This is an example of the Upper Cambrian trilobite Wujiajiania sutherlandi from the McKay Group of Southeastern BC. Many trilobites from this site including this one exhibit a unique style of preservation, being found within calcite nodules. Access to the sites is very limited and this is part of a batch I of trilobites I received in trade from one of the claim holders.
