5.9" Insect Fossil Cluster- Green River Formation, Utah

 
This is a 5.9" long, cluster of unidentified insect fossils from the Green River Formation, Uintah County, Utah. A number of members of this cluster appear to be beetles. One appears to be a Dragon Fly (Odonata)and another, a Silver Fish (Zygentoma).

While this formation is best known for well preserved fossil fish found in Wyoming, other sections of the formation contain a very diverse insect fauna.
