This is a 6.1" wide, fossil brittle star (Ophiura) from the Kataoua Formation of Morocco. It is Ordovician in age, approximately 450 million years old. The orange coloration is natural and due to the oxidization of iron pyrite.

There is also an unidentified fossil crinoid and parts of several over echinoderms present on the rock. A repaired crack runs through the rock and the fossil.
