Bargain 1.1" Nanotyrannus Tooth - Montana

This is a bargain 1.10" long tooth of Nanotyrannus lancensis. It comes from the Hell Creek Formation of Montana. The tooth is about average size for "nano" teeth, but the tooth has been fairly worn. It comes in an acrylic display case.

While there are many paleontologists that feel that Nanotyrannus is not a valid genus and simply represents a juvenile T-Rex recent fossil finds that are being published on clearly indicate it is a separate genus from Tyrannosaurus rex.
