Bargain 11" Mioplosus Fossil Fish - Wyoming
This is a nice example of one of the more uncommon fish from the Green River Formation, Mioplosus labracoides. It is 11" in length on a 14x11.5" slab of natural matrix. The specimen displays great preservation with highly detailed with the bone structure, vertebrae and fins. Also present on the plate are six full and partial Knightia eocaena fish, up to 3.6" long. There is a repaired crack running diagonally across the plate, hence the discounted price. The plate comes with an acrylic display stand.
