Bargain Amaltheus Ammonite Specimen - France

This is a 1.5" wide ammonite (Amaltheus sp.) collected from Aveyron, France. The ammonite has been prepared free of the rock it was found in and is Jurassic in age. This specimen does not have the best preservation and was marked with permanent marker, hence the reduced price.
