Bargain Paralejurus Trilobite - 2.5"

This is a bargain example of the Corynexochida trilobite, Paralejurus. It has a naturally multi-toned preservation and would be about 2 1/2" long if fully outstretched. The matrix around it has been painstakingly removed using airscribes to reveal the detailed shell. There is a fair amount of shell restoration on this specimen (mostly on the tail), hence the bargain price.

The tiny eye facets can still be seen in both eyes.
