Beautifully Preserved Metacanthina Trilobite

This is a gorgeous chocolate colored trilobite of the species Metacanthina issoumourensis often referred to as an "Asteropyge" or “Kayserops”. It has wonderful surface detail and the eye facets are amazing. The way it has been presented on the matrix is very pleasing to the eye. There is a repaired crack but no restoration on this well prepared specimen.
