Fossil Great White Shark Tooth - 1.85"
This is a fossil great white shark tooth, Carcharodon carcharias. It's 1.85" long and comes from the Pungo River Formation in South Carolina which is Miocene in age. The serrations are a bit worn but are still visible along the edge. These fossil great white teeth are much rarer than the Megalodon teeth which they are associated with.
