Large 5.65" Drotops Trilobite With Great Eyes
This is a large, 5.65" long specimen of the trilobite Drotops megalomanicus. The quality of preservation and preparation on this specimen is very nice. I really like the multi-toned shell coloration of the Drotops trilobites from this location, and find in more aesthetically appealing than the ones with a solid black shell.
All of the tubercles, bumps and eye facets can easily be seen. Only about 2% shell restoration along a repaired crack through the tail.
