Polished Fossil Sea Urchin (Micraster)

This is a polished fossil sea urchin of the genus Micraster. This extinct genus thrived during the Late Cretaceous and is found throughout Europe and North America. I acquired a flat of these down at the Tucson Gem and Mineral show but unfortunately all the locality information was missing.
