Rare 1.6" Ptychopyge Trilobite - Putilovo Quarry, Russia

This is a superb example of a rare Ordovician trilobite from the Putilovo Quarry. It's a 1.6" long Ptychopyge rossica, with exceptional shell preservation. The trilobite looks like as if it is crawling over a ridge, but if it was fully extended it would measure about 3.3" long. Shell restoration is pretty minimal on this specimen.
