2.5" Natrolite Crystal Cluster - Tvedalen, Norway

This is a cluster of natrolite crystals that was collected from Tvedalen, Norway. The crystals are in excellent condition, most of which have pristine terminations.

Natrolite is a member of the zeolite group and is a tectosilicate mineral. The crystals are commonly found in aggregations of slender, acicular habit crystals, often forming divergent sprays or tufts. These radiating clusters can be found in association with other zeolite minerals, typically in cavities of basalt rock.

The chemical formula of natrolite is Na2Al2Si3O10 · 2H2O .
