7.25" Colorful, Free-Standing, Polished Jasper - Madagascar

This is a colorful, 7.25" tall, polished piece of jasper from the Ambolobozo Peninsula of Madagascar. This comes from the same locality as Ocean Jasper is mined but this particular piece doesn't have some of the distinctive orbs so I wouldn't consider it ocean jasper. The base of the stone has been cut flat so that it stands up on a hard surface.
