4.7" Sauropod (Diplodocus?) Caudal Vertebra - Morrison Formation
This is a 4.7" caudal (tail) vertebra of an sauropod from the Morrison Formation in Wyoming. It's most likely Diplodocus, but sometimes it's hard ID'ing isolated sauropod vertebra as they can be very similar.
It has been compressed laterally and has three repairs and a small area of filled crack. This specimen has the vertebral arch, but the spinous and transverse processes are missing. The bone is in very good condition.
Comes with a display stand.
