INESITE SPECIMENS
Inesite is a fairly uncommon hydrous calcium manganese silicate mineral. It typically forms in dense, fibrous aggregations of attractive crystals that can range from light pink to rose-red in color. In rare cases, these crystals can form in globular or botryoidal habits. INseite can be found in several known localities, including the Hilfe Gottes mine in Germany (type locality), South Africa, Australia, Sweden, Japan, USA (California), and the Fengjishan mine (Daye copper mine) in China.
