POLISHED NOREENA JASPER

Noreena jasper is a type of jasper named after the Noreena Hills in Western Australia, where it is found. It is known for its unique and colorful patterns that can include shades of red, orange, yellow, and green.

It is a silicified pelite (mudstone) that occurs in the Jeerinah Formation. It was deposited during the Late Archean, an astounding 2.7 billion years ago! Due to its unique and colorful patterning, it is often used jewelry and as a decorative stone.
