1.5" Polished Que Sera Stone Skulls

These are 1.5" long skulls made from que sera stone (llanite) from Brazil. The pictures are representative of the specimen(s) you will receive, so there may be some slight variation in shape and color.

Que sera stone is a trade name for unique varieties of rhyolite (a volcanic rock with high silica content) known for striking, opalescent, blue quartz phenocrysts that seem to glow in the sunlight. It is found exclusively in Brazil but is very similar in appearance and composition to Llanite found in Texas. The stones contain a variety of minerals, including quartz, feldspar, kaolinite, iron oxides, magnetite, clinozoisite, and leucozene.
