Cut & Polished Nautilus Fossils - 1 to 1 1/4" Size
These are gorgeous nautilus (Cymatoceras sp.) fossils which have been cut in half and polished to reveal all of the detail of the inner chambers. It's a real cool fossil that would make a great gift or could even be used to make jewelry. These ones range from 1 to 1 1/4" wide and the photos are representative specimen(s) you will receive.
The fossils are Early Cretaceous (Albian Stage) in age, or approximately 110 million years old, and were collected from the Mahajanga Province of Madagascar.
