1.2" Mississipian Gastropod (Euomphalus) & Coral Fossil - Iowa
This is a nicely preserved Euomphalus latus gastropod that preserved in association with an unidentified solitary coral. Both specimens have been mostly exposed from the oolitic limestone, collected near Humboldt, Iowa. The quality of preparation on these fossils is very nice - using skillful air-abrasion techniques under a stereo microscope. Comes with an acrylic display stand.
