This is a beautiful, 1.35" wide, polished nautilus fossil from Madagascar. The polishing really shows off the stark contrast between the black coloring and white septae separations.
About Nautilus Fossils
autilus is a classic shelled cephalopod with a fossil history spanning more than 500 million years.
