1.4" Declivolithus Trilobite - Positive & Negative

This is a 1.4" wide, detailed specimen Trinucleid trilobite Declivolithus from Morocco. Both the positive and negative impressions of the trilobite are included. There is a repaired crack running through the center of the rock, and the trilobite.

This trilobite has really dramatic cephalic pits along it's "head shield". It's unknown the exact purpose of these pits, they could have had sensory purposes or aided in filter feeding.
