1.5", 3D Illaenus Oblongatus Trilobite - Russia

This is an 1.5" long example Illaenus oblongatus collected near St. Petersburg Russia. This 460 million year old trilobite looks like it is ready to crawl off of the rock thanks to some masterful preparation work. This specimen would help round out any trilobite collection.

Like essentially all Russian trilobites this one does have restoration to fix damage that occurred during collection. There is restoration along the repaired crack running through the head and tail and on the pleural tips on the right hand side. Probably about 10% shell restoration in total.
