1.5" Reddish Barrandeops Trilobite

This is a Barrandeops trilobite from Hmar Laghdad, Morocco. The shell preservation is a deep reddish coloration which is unique to the location. The red coloration is due to higher levels of iron in the silicified exoskeleton.
