1.65" Polished Fossil Coral Pendant - 925 Sterling Silver

This is a stunning 1.65" long polished pendant of fossil coral from Sumatra, Indonesia. The polishing really highlights the beautiful fossilized structure of the coral. This pendant is set in 92 sterling silver and comes with a 24" silver-plated snake chain.

These corals are approximately 20 million years old and are the remains of ancient reefs. Tectonic action has thrust them up forming mountains. As these corals fossilized the original organic material was replaced by silica, iron, manganese and other minerals.
