This is a really cool specimen of Carboniferous (Mississippian) aged fossil coral (Cladochonus beecheri) from the Edwardsville Formation of Crawfordsville, Indiana. The quality of preparation on this fossil is exquisite, using skillful air-abrasion techniques under a stereo microscope.
