1.7" Cretaceous Crocodilian Skull Section - Montana

This is a nicely preserved skull section of a 66 million year old crocodilian. It appears to be a piece that would have been from the very back of the jaw.

It was collected from the Hell Creek Formation of Powder River County, Montana. There are a number of genres of crocodiles and alligatoroids described from this formation with the most likely suspect being Leidyosuchus.
