1" Fossil Fish Fang (Aidachar) - Kem Kem Beds, Morocco
This is a nicely preserved needle-like tooth of the genus Aidachar, an extinct teleost ray-finned fish. These teeth sometimes get confused with pterosaur teeth, but they have a distinctive curve near the tip, are more hollow and don't have the typical striations found on pterosaur teeth.
Comes in an acrylic display case.
