11" Petrified Wood Free-Standing Sculpture

This is a very aesthetically pleasing free-standing, petrified wood "sculpture". It's a log of 20 million year old petrified wood from McDermitt, Oregon which has been cut diagonally and polished. It's 11 inches tall, very solid and heavy, weighing about 5 1/2 lbs. The inner wood detail is amazing showing all of the growth rings and the exterior looks almost like it's a still living tree, only it's fossilized. Very cool display.
