12.5" Wide Plate Of Fossil Brittle Stars & Starfish

This is an impressive 12.5 x 9" limestone plate from El Kaid Rami, Morocco, featuring a striking association of two large brittle stars and a starfish. One of the brittle stars measures over 6" across, an unusually large size, and both display excellent preservation with fine detail visible throughout their delicate arms.

The natural arrangement of the three echinoderms makes for a particularly attractive display specimen. There is no restoration on this piece.
