2.15" Cyclopygid Trilobite (Degamella) - Lower Ktaoua Formation

This is a scarce, 2.1" long Cyclopygid trilobite (Degamella sandinoae) from the Lower Ktaoua Formation of Morocco. Cyclopygid trilobites are an asaphid that was believed to have been a free-swimming trilobite deeper/darker parts of the water column (below 500 feet). They are characterized by enlarged eyes, with a wide angle of view, both horizontal and vertical on the sides of their head.
