2.3" Mackerel Shark (Cretolamna) Tooth Fossil in Rock - Eocene

 
This is a 2.3" fossil tooth of the extinct mackerel shark, Cretolamna maroccana, from the phosphate deposits near Khouribga, Morocco. It is Eocene in age, meaning it's approximately 54 million years old. This tooth is still embedded in the natural rock in which it was found.

Comes with an acrylic display stand.
