2.4" Jurassic Fossil Leaf (Ginkgo) Plate - England

This is a beautiful plant fossil of the species Ginkgo huttoni. These well preserved plant fossils come from the Middle Jurassic-aged Saltwick Formation in North Yorkshire, England and are approximately 160 million years old. It is finely detailed and the dark preservation contrasts well against the sandy-grey rock. A very cool variety of a popular fossil.

The rock is cut flat along one edge, creating an aesthetic natural display.
