2.7" Theropod Dinosaur Vertebrae - Kem Kem Beds
This is a 2.7" long vertebrae of a theropod dinosaur from the Kem Kem Beds of Morocco. Given how little work has been done on the theropods in Morocco, I'm not going to try assigning it to a genus. Potentially Spinosaurus.
These fossils are found in a thin bed that outcrops around the edge of a large plateau. Local miners collect these fossils by digging tunnels into this plateau following this layer.
