2.8" Sauropod Vertebra Section In Stone - Colorado

This is a 2.8", fossil sauropod vertebra section from the Morrison Formation in Colorado. This is a section of the body (centrum) of a caudal vertebra. It has one repaired crack.

There are a number of sauropods known from the Morrison Formation. The most common were Camarasaurs, Diplodocids and Apatosaurs, but there are at least a dozen other genera.
