2" Jurassic Fossil Fish (Cavenderichthys) - Australia

This is a 2" wide fossil fish of the species Cavenderichthys talbragarensis (formerly Leptolepis talbragarensis), collected from the The Talbragar Fish Beds in New South Wales, Australia. The fossil is beautiful detailed and is from the Late Jurassic (Kimmeridgian Stage), making it approximately 155 million years old. Some of the head is missing on this specimen.

It comes with an acrylic display stand.
