3.7" Multiple Fossil Leaf Plate - Green River Formation, Utah
This is a 3.7" wide slab of shale containing multiple flora fossils. The two leaves are of the species Mimosites coloradensis and Equisetum winchesteri which are preserved alongside horsetail fossils of the species Equisetum winchesteri. This specimen was collected from the Green River Formation in Utah.

Mimosites coloradensis - .7" long
Caesalpinia pecorae - .85" long
Equisetum winchesteri - 6" long
Rock - 3.7 x 3.2"
While the Green River Formation is best known for its fish fossils from Wyoming, other areas produce incredible plant fossils. Comes with an acrylic display stand.
